the day off

out my window on this holiday, snow day, do not-much-of-anything-but-have-fun day.

Soooooooooo glad to know you are having one of those "do nothing days". You need more of those!

I finished watching the mini series John Adams with my do nothing day . . . then I read a few more chapters of Harry Potter (Book 4). Stayed in jammies, too. I love these kind of days, too. My backyard looked similar to yours. Husband cleaned off the bird feeders of snow before cleaning the yard/driveway of snow. Blue Jays and chickadees visited all day while husband shoveled and I did my version of "nothing." Thought I might have seen a woodpecker when I peeked out while waiting for the teakettle to heat up. The day was a wonderful gift.
