close call

here we are, only in the midst of september and last night we had our first frost advisory! there's another posted for tonight but since we escaped it last night, it's unlikely it will happen tonight either. phew! i adore fall - but i'm not sure i'm ready to totally give up summer just yet!

I am looking forward to some of your beautiful fall photos. We simply don't have much down here other than a bit of yellow sprinkled in with the mostly BROWN fall leaves!

Oh. a frost advisory would be so early in the year. I wonder when we will get our first one? It does always feel good in the morning to walk in when everything is white and crispy, but I'm not quite ready for it I think.

Linda Chapman: i think fall photos may be the obvious choice for the october 12 of 12 - if the weather cooperates!
Nora: i love that crisp feeling of fall mornings. but i'd rather have it next month!
myletterstoemily: the forecast was wrong. although i know folks in other parts of the state got a frost
Tabor: looking forward to those desert pictures!!

it does seem early for frost but then up here in Northern Canada they predict snow showers....early for here but it's happened before :(

Are such sudden seasonal changes typical for where you are? In Milan (Italy), it seems that our glorious springs and falls last about two weeks a piece (but I'm exaggerating).
