just four days ago on this very spot, i stood in two inches of snow, wearing boots that i had to retrieve from the back of the closet. and now here i stand, in bare toes and sandals, listening to the sounds of peepers and a hermit thrush. i've waited a long time for this moment!

Yes, the green is here, and the river is so very high and strong and dangerous...and the humidity begins its tug on the lungs.

Yeah! We've been having "iffy" weather, too (though no snow), but today is gorgeous, so I'd better shut off the computer, and go for a walk with my camera! Thanks for your blog!
