back to work

here's one of the solar lights at the edge of the garden, just now beginning to emerge from months and months under the snow. even though only the top is exposed, apparently the solar panels have already started working again. tonight, there was a faint surreal glow of yellow-blue under the snow. it only lasted about an hour before it faded. but it's a start.

Hope......that's what I thought of when I saw this post. Hope shines in the darkness. Always.

Everyone here had a good little chuckle over that! Thanks for sharing.

very cool!

The one period I lived snowed in was as a very young child in Minneapolis. My mom likes to tell people that towards the end of one winter I got all excited when I say the back of a swing "appear" in the garden... I had forgotten all about its existence and want to go out and swing! (even though the rest of it was still under snow).

Over here we're in the middle of a lovely Spring with cherry trees in blossom, sunshine and blue skies. Perfect!

That's adorable! Sweet little light trying to poke its head out. I needed that this morning. Thank you!

Those little solar lights are so tough. They never let you down. See how eager this one is to do its job. They can be had for such little money nowadays. Technology is a wonder.
