since october has arrived, it's probably time to put away some of the outside furniture. but this table under the big maple is still one of my favorite places to work on a brilliant sunny afternoon or a crisp still evening. perhaps in a few more weeks...

I have gotten out of the habit of working outside and reading outside because of the hot weather and now your lovely photo makes me reget that.
I was thinking of your blog today. Although my visits on blogger have been few lately, I remembered today your blog, and how you capture simple pleasures. They're the best things to read.
Tabor: In summer this is a great place to sit because it's densely shaded. But this time of year, I'll sit outside and read til I'm chilled to the bone and I can't stand it any more!
