i don't smoke,
i don't drink,
i don't gamble,
and i don't wear fancy clothes.
but i shamelessly buy myself flowers in winter.

I would call it preventive medicine...to stave off depression. And daisies have a smell, fresh. xoxo

Much healthier life style unless you have allergies ;-)

Sounds like a pretty harmless vice, unless you happen to have any allergies to flowers...

i guess the "vice" part is the money i spend on them. i don't like to buy (or receive) cut flowers because they're expensive and they die. but in snowy cold january, they're so worth it!

Nothing wrong with that! It's much healthier than smoking, drinking, and gambling.

I love cut flowers, too. Little things can be done to prolong their beauty. Then, bless their little plant hearts, they conveniently die, so they don't have to be tended. Hate it when people give me plants...either over water, or under water, and there never seems to be the right light for them. After they peter out into measly looking little things, and my conscience is assuaged, I give them away to a very nice person with a green thumb, who will give them a very nice home. She says the white cyclamens (which I love...and these had a marvelous scent! really, they did!), which I gave to her umpteen years ago are still going strong, bless them.
