just recording things that make an impression on me...for whatever reason

what's next?
as winter storm warnings mount for an impending east coast snowstorm, look - at the local pharmacy, they think now that christmas is over spring is right around the corner. who makes these decisions anyway? and who on earth buys this stuff now?
There is a calendar on store owners computers that pops up, New Holiday, and tells the stores it is time to change for the next occasion to sell memoribilia. They can't be creative on their own.
Those very thoughts often pass through my head: who on earth would even think of such products, but, even more mind boggling, who would be so sure that that horrible stuff would sell that they'd put out good money to produce, package, market, and transport it?!

We customers get bored soooo easily.
Cracker Barrel now has Easter candy and decorations displayed in the store. Crazy!
