when this arbor was built last summer, i agonized over the color choice for the paint. when it was finished, i was a bit disappointed to see how blue it was instead of the tree-trunk grey i had hoped it would be. but now that it's covered with lovely, lush vines, heavy with grapes, i see how silly that was. draped serenely in morning sunlight, it would still be beautiful even if it had been painted orange.

So beautiful, so inviting.

I like it too, especially the grapes. Do the birds leave any for you? I know someone who built a grape arbor over her deck and had to dodge bird droppings--your location is better.

Yay for God and His greenery.

It really is pretty.

I understand what you mean. It's a good thing that nature is so very forgiving, isn't it? She lets us make minor errors.

The arbor looks great, by the way.

There is nothing more welcoming than a draped archway. I have one in my small garden covered with jasmine and it makes me smile every time I look at it. :)
