What is so rare as a day in june? a day in july! perfect weather today for a long walk, for some work outside at the table, for a snooze under the maples and for a picnic dinner with the little girl, eating watermelon and listening to crickets. summer as it should be!

The little girl is very lucky.
While our weather has been hot, we are now getting a break in form of lovely cool and less humid mornings.
I agree... beautiful weather here in CA also, cool nights and lovely days...
The picnic sounds marvelous plus I love the dahlia photo. I am a member of the Utah Dahlia Society and am thrilled to see the blooms beginning about now in our area.
