just recording things that make an impression on me...for whatever reason

a great week for clouds
i'm not sure what's going on in the atmosphere but it was another amazing cloud formation this evening as i left my other school. this is from the cheesy little camera. i sure do wish i'd had the good one with me.
I was testing a first grader on Thursday and we took a break in the action to draw. She drew a fantastic sunset and then asked me if I had seen the one the night before. I am not worried about this sweetie!
joanna: you're right, it's not. i have seen the aurora only once, here in nh, and it was just spectacular!!! it lasted and lasted and i was able to drive to a spot with lots of sky to get a clear view. if i'd had the camera i have now, i might have photographed it. as it was, i was content to just dance under it... i do hope i get to see it again in my lifetime!

gretchen: it's interesting how many area folk have post cloud/sunset pictures this week online! suppose there is something going on??
it almost looks like the aurora borealis but....probably not.

The gasses in the air are making the cloud do this. The air mixed with that is making the beautiful colors. I love your pic it is great
