Yep. Happy New Year! xo Jenny
Beautiful.....as always!!
Ohh....don't ya love the moon and stars? "listen! Can you hear the stars??? don't they sound magical as they come out to play???"
I've always wanted a telescope but never managed to get one. Maybe I should look into it this year.
I don't know as much about the moon and the stars but I do appreciate them, especially on a clear night.
nights here have been so clear, with no snow under foot. it really has been optimal viewing time for scanning the heavens!
I've only been following your blog since 2011 (I found your blog through a link on ~she~'s blog). You may have already told your readers this...I am just curious (nosy?). Are you a science teacher? You seem to know so much about nature, including very impressive scientific terms!
beautiful photo regardless, and i've really loved the clear nights here in Texas. insomnia had me in the front yard one morning at 2 a.m. looking at the sky and without all the house and street lights in the neighborhood, it was just so amazing to see how many stars there were. it made me feel rather small...
Mimsie: i am not a science teacher. i just have a passionate curiosity about the earth and its natural elements. and i have always just wondered about the vastness and awesomeness of space. Cindi & Nora: when i wake up in the middle of the night, i do the same thing - only i look out the windows. i wonder if i'd go back to sleep quicker if i didn't!
