just recording things that make an impression on me...for whatever reason

famous last words
over the weekend, i saw this in a cemetery. when my time finally comes, i'd love to leave behind words like this. words that make even a stranger laugh out loud and smile days later, thinking that the deceased must have really been quite a gal.
Very Funny. I found that it is apparently a translation from Irish from Spike Milligan's epitaph. I also love Groucho Marx's "Excuse me, I can't stand up" (he only suggested it, it doesn't actually appear on his grave)

That is funny. I once saw one for Hannah. It read: She did what she could. I have always wondered about that.
wow I remeber dad saying he wanted to put that on Nana's grave!

Too funny!
I LOVE it!!! James Dobson of Focus on the Family said his mother wanted that printed on her stone!
I would want something humorous printed on my stone as well.
be that as it may, i'll put in my own stone" now I know what you mean"
I love this!!!
I linked this as part of my Friday Five at Kate's Library!
