Thanks for blogging our tree! It has hosted many a large bird surveying its possible prey. A gyrfalcon one year, although this is far south of its range. The fallen branches serve as a message to our all-too-aggressive neighbor who would like to extend the dead end so he can drive logging trucks through our yard. Yes, it's a blessed tree.
