end of the season
the last corn of the season tonight for dinner, with the final scrapings of the dill butter made in july. the ocd in me loves when silly things like this come out serendipitously even.
Dear Chris, I was feeling bad because it has been freezing here. Flowers are brown. What could I take a picture of? Because of your gold leaf photo I got out my macro lens and searched out a tiny red maple leaf in a pine bough and a tiny white flower in the grass. thanks for the inspiration!

We get our corn from our cousin's farm. It is awesome! My husband freezes it and we enjoy it long into the winter. Now I am hungry for some.
