so that's how milkweed pods form from the flowers!
and look who's already feeding on the plant!

No matter how many years go by, the thrill of watching the monarchs on the milkweed never lessens. Some things in life are just too amazing.
I have only one milkweed this year, but buying some more plants and going to have lots of fun with them next year.
