Apple pie is one of my absolute Thanksgiving favorites. I hope you have a fantabulous holiday! :)

I'm re-reading Jack Kerouac's novel On The Road, and his protagonist ate apple pie and ice cream every morning during on of his road trips because 'it was so delicious and nutritious' :)
Happy Thanksgiving!

Everyone should eat apple pie for breakfast at least once in a while!

I usually eat pie for breakfast. I don't make them often because there are just the two of us...but that also means we have to eat it for breakfast!

Apple pie with ice cream can be a complete meal: fruit (apples), carbohydrates (flour), proteins (nuts), sugar (well, sugar, but your brain needs it to think), and dairy (ice cream)...if you leave the peels on the apples, can we call the peels vegetables? [grin]

Had to laugh. I am just getting caught up on my reads and saw this. I did have apple pie for breakfast-with cool whip! Happy Thanksgiving.

We call apple pie "fat pie" in our family and our eldest daughter makes it cause her pastry is sooo good! And she always sprinkles in too much cinnamon...we tell her not to worry, it will be just fine. And,I confess, we eat it anytime.
I really like your blog, especially your beautiful pictures of the New England landscape.
