Nature often leaves mark in the sky with rainbow, It shows its majesty irrespective of friends or foe, It is a imposing moment that has been captured by you. Truly captivating view.
As always, you have really captured a very nice picture, i love rainbows. They last for so little time, yet they remain etched in our memory for a long time.
It's a beauty to watch. We in Asom, we call 'Ram dhenu' means the 'Bow of lord Rama' who is revered by Hindu as God. As children we used to jostle to see rainbow, whenever it appears.Elders used to predict weather by looking at the direction, height & length of rainbow. It is said that whenever a rainbow is seen around 'Moon' at night, next day will be a sunny day.
this reminded me very much of the rainbow I saw around the 3rd week of April - beautiful and surreal, even more so because it is El NiƱo in our part of the world. I guess rainbows will always be magical because they are the symbol of God's promise, no matter if they appeared during storms or in the middle of drought... :)
