candlemas

if candlemas day is clear and bright
winter will have another bite.
if candlemas day brings cloud and rain,
winter is gone and will not come again.

hoping the groundhog does not see his shadow.

    It was cloudy and COLD here, today (going outside felt like stepping into a gigantic deep freezer). The few inches of snow that fell are lingering, though I don't think any more is due, soon. If it doesn't melt by Saturday, I'll have time to go out for some photographs. Wish me luck!
