That's a beautiful shot of the moon. You probably have a better camera than I, but I keep trying to photograph the moon. My ultra-compact camera probably isn't up to the task. The trees and the moon make a great combination that is almost as mesmerizing as the ocean. It makes a nice view through the skylight when I am wandering around the house at 2 a.m. with insomnia. We have too much light pollution to see many stars even on a cold, cloudless night.
i am always super-critical of my nighttime shots and i so want to be able to do them well! i think my lens is not good enough for shooting the moon and the stars. and even when i use a tripod and the camera's timer, i still get blur and shake. thank you all for being so accepting of my efforts!!! i'll keep trying, hoping some night i'll get it right - or at least better!!
This reminds me of the Bible verse...."He makes the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice."
ReplyDeleteGreat pics!!
The moon was so fabulous a few nights ago. But I need a better lens to shoot the moon.
ReplyDeleteNo bible verse comes to mind, but I do like your photos.I love the sparkly stars.
ReplyDeleteYou are always so creative. And good for you for braving the elements to get these beautiful, haunting photos.
