up and out very early this saturday morning. it's 0° outside and the car is not yet heated up as i pull out of the driveway. it's the kind of morning when you can be fairly certain the sun, in all its brilliance, isn't going to warm things up much at all.
Zero degrees? Thats insane! Try and keep warm.
ReplyDeleteBrrrr! I know what you mean. Yet,...what beauty.
ReplyDeletebeautiful photo..we had 15 days below freezing and all of a sudden we are in the 40's..heat wave!
ReplyDeleteThe sun was bright on our clean, fresh snow this am, too, and the temp was about 10 degrees when I went out to shovel. Somehow the beauty really got to me, even more than the cold did.
ReplyDeleteit was so beautiful this morning that, even though i wanted to get the car moving and warmed up, i just had to stop to take that shot. i debated getting out of the car but i really liked the frost patterns on the window, too.
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain, we barely broke 70 here in Phoenix today....
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, it's going to be 50F in the Netherlands today. It's unseasonably warm. I'm happy!
ReplyDeleteA great photograph of the rising sun.
ReplyDeleteCostas
brrrr.... I hate cold weather!
ReplyDeleteOne of your best photos, yet, and you take some pretty great ones! Really love it, thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love this time of year... and I love this photo!!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing sometimes that it can be a bright sunny day with freezing temperatures. Love the pic.
ReplyDeleteShooting through the frost on the window--awesome. Like shooting through the rain on the car window, which is one of my favorite things to do. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteI remember winters like this when I lived in North Dakota. You said it perfectly...the sun in all its brilliance just won't warm us up during the long months of winter!
ReplyDeleteWow...very neat pic! Clever!
