And you are a writer also? Amazing! Anyways, not to get to philosophical on you, but if unwinding involves making an effort to disclose yourself from what you like to do, it's not really unwinding, is it? So don't worry about it, just enjoy yourself!

Thats really cool. I don't know anything about cameras, my wife loves photography, but we're a little archaic when it comes to the new stuff. Any suggestions on a camera that won't really drill a hole through our wallets?
i have a sony cybershot point & shoot. this is my third one. i carry it with me everywhere so some of my pictures on the blog come from that. it's a pretty nifty little camera for under $200. :-)
Did you know that the fern you had displayed is an eatable plant. My extended family and I use to pick ferns located in New Zealand. Furthermore; we had to eat the cooked ferns for dinner. The ferns taste discusting but its a sorce of food.
vacation week and lots of time for walking in the woods and experimenting with the camera. like this fern, i am really trying to unwind.
So true; but for the fern it comes naturally.

Perhaps, like the fern, you should not try so hard but just go with the flow and then unwind as nature intended. Beautiful picture.
