dead heads from last summer's black-eyed susans mingle with some unknown flora - maple saplings or grapevine, perhaps. this captured after dark, in the back, as i was grilling dinner while i still can. a big snowstorm is forecasted. there'll be no more cooking outside then.
This is fabulous. I can't wait to be able to cook outdoors again!
ReplyDeleteNice picture ...all though you grilled in that? burrr! =)
ReplyDeleteThe lighting just came out magical, the bright on the foreground "foliage", with the receding light in the background. Great job. Good luck with your upcoming storm!
ReplyDeleteStrange that this may sound, but I really like your photo. The cool colors and the amazing blue background. Hope you'll have power through the storm. I remember my daughter complaining one winter that the power went out during a snow storm and she was so cold. She tried to make a fire in the fireplace but it didn't last until her savor (husband) came home from work to build a nice warm fire.
ReplyDeleteSending some warm hugs,
Autumn
I ❤❤❤ this photo ... (and all of your others, of course)!
ReplyDeleteI am struck by the tenacity of nature under such conditions ... as well as the opposing conditions my garden suffers in today under the sizzling + 45 degrees Celsius heat.
Thank you so much for sharing and enjoy the snow!
Your pictures are gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteI like your photo. I think it's so interesting.
ReplyDeleteLoved the photo and the fact that you were actually grilling out in the snow.
ReplyDeleteWe have snow, too but the temperatures have been in the single digits and even the most hardy souls are not cooking outside. Maybe another month or so.
Howdy, this Ozarks farm chick just wanted to pop over and congratulate ya'll on Blog of Note. WooHoo!
