coping with weather
if its going to snow tomorrow, which it is, and i have to stay home again, which i might, at least im going to have this sign of whats-to-come to focus on instead of just dwelling on yet another snowstorm.
Love tulips - especially their self determination when it comes to neck strength! No matter which way you HOPE they will droop, they always have their own plan!
i love tulips too - and usually reserve them for closer-to-spring. but i needed the lift now. you know what a fan i am of snow (and snow days!). but this is a bit much....
i adore winter, but i start buying myself flowers about now to give me the strength to get through the brownness of mud season. that bit of color does the trick. cb

ReplyDeletei always try to save daffodils til march and hyacinths til easter. but i may have to break down this winter and get them earlier.
